Become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider in Tenterfield
Local community members have the opportunity to complete accredited Mental Health First Aid Training on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 September 2025 at the Tenterfield Golf Club, 169 Pelham St, Tenterfield.
Delivered by the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP), this free two-day training equips adults with the skills to support someone developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis.
Participants will learn how to:
• Recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems
• Provide initial help and support
• Access professional and effective assistance
• Respond in a crisis situation
This training is free of charge, and lunch will be provided.
Registrations for the limited places close on Friday 12 September 2025.
