Men's Night Out

  • Glen Innes & District Services Club 120 Grey Street Glen Innes NSW 2370 Australia (map)

GLENRAC’s Men’s Night will focus on Men’s Health and feature a range of interesting speakers & live entertainment.

Don't miss this incredible evening of fun, inspiration, and community connection.

  • Our MC for the evening: Murray “Muz” Hartin! - Muz made a special appearance at the GLENRC 35th Anniversary dinner in 2024, and we just can’t get enough of him here in Glen Innes! His stories epitomise mateship and Muz will remind you and the family how lucky we are to be Australian.

  • Keynote Speaker: Sam Bailey – A Story of Grit, Humour & Determination

We’re thrilled to welcome Sam Bailey as the keynote speaker for Men’s Night Out 2025 in Glen Innes!

After a car accident in the outback turned his life upside down, Sam defied the odds to become a farmer again—riding a quad bike, flying an ultralight aircraft, and inspiring thousands across Australia. Together with his wife Jenny, he’s co-authored the bestselling memoir Head Over Heels—a powerful story of love, laughter, and facing adversity head-on. Sam’s story is one you’ll never forget.

  • Musical entertainment for the evening: Sam Handford - Sam is a talented young musician hailing from Casino, in the Northern Rivers. He’s been performing across the east coast of Australia for close to ten years at venues such as private events, pubs, weddings, and agricultural shows. Sam has already released a small handful of original songs online, including “Cowboy in Love”, “Another Rodeo” and a mash-up of two well known songs in “The Kings Mash”. He performs a wide variety of hit songs guaranteed to be enjoyed by all listeners.

  • Special Guest – Carol Mudford, Founder of sHedway - We are incredibly honoured to welcome Carol Mudford, the powerhouse behind sHedway, as our special guest for the upcoming Men’s Night Out. Carol’s background as a nurse, shearer, and wool handler gives her a powerful and personal connection to the mental health struggles faced in the shearing industry. In 2023, she founded sHedway, a not-for-profit organisation supporting positive mental health in shearing sheds across Australia. Her work is changing lives—and it's being recognised. Carol was recently named the 2025 NSW AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award winner for her trailblazing efforts in suicide prevention and mental health awareness within the wool industry. Thanks to your incredible support during last year's Men’s Night Out, we proudly donated $6,145 to sHedway through raffles, auctions, and generous contributions.
