Judi worked in the horse industry, managing breeding studs, before returning to university and gaining a PhD in pasture ecology, when she conducted the first studies describing the benefits to pasture composition from planned grazing. She has extensive experience in how grasslands and pastures respond to grazing and fertility management.
In 2010 Judi purchased ‘Glen Orton’ near Coolatai where she puts into practice the grazing management principles she has promoted for the past 20 years. Judi is a practical and widely respected speaker.
