Grants are available for local projects which prepare communities for natural disasters, support long-term recovery and build resilience, with criteria giving priority to smaller organisations.
More Australian communities are being impacted by natural disasters as our climate changes. NAB Foundation Community Grants can help you safeguard your community with funding for projects that prepare for natural disasters, support long-term recovery and build resilience against future disasters.
There are two rounds of applications. Applications received from 23 November 2020 to 31 March 2021 will be assessed; successful grantees notified in April 2021.
A second round of applications will be received from 1 April 2021 to 30 July 2021. These grants to be awarded in August 2021.

You can receive up to $10,000 to fund local projects aiming to do one or more of the following:
- help people and places prepare for natural disasters
- assist in short and long-term recovery efforts
- build community resilience against future disasters
- strengthen the environment to be more resilient to natural disasters, and
- help communities reduce their climate risk.
